Crosscheck is a communications and design partnership based in Stavanger, Norway, founded by Mark Lewis. We bring together journalism-grade storytelling with strategic communications and design expertise for the energy and industrial sector.
Our approach combines senior communications experience in the energy sector with the accuracy, curiosity and audience focus of international journalism — and partners who bring brand and design capability in-house, not outsourced.
We work across internal and external communication, helping teams identify the story, sharpen the message, and choose the right format. Corporate experience includes senior roles with Harbour Energy and Wintershall Dea on the Norwegian continental shelf, alongside nine years running an independent communications consultancy from Stavanger.
Alongside corporate communications, our founder has worked as Norway correspondent for The Associated Press and contributed to The New York Times, The Sunday Times, The Times, Time, The Guardian and New Statesman.
That dual background shapes how we work: clarity before complexity, accuracy before noise, and communication built around what the audience genuinely needs to know.
